PANEER TAMATAR CURRY(TOMATO AND COTTAGE CHEESE CURRY)
A North Indian recipe with cottage cheese and rich tomato gravy.

INGREDIENT :
Cottage cheese - 250 gms. (diced)
Tomatoes - 1 kg.
Ginger (chopped) - 6 gm.
Green chilies - 7 gm.
Butter - 12.5 gm.
Tomato ketchup - 30 gm.
Sugar - 30 gm.
Oil - 30 ml.

Salt to taste

METHOD :
In a pan of boiling water, blanch tomatoes and liquidize to puree . Heat oil and fry ginger and chilies, add tomato puree. Saute cottage cheese in a pan and add to tomato puree . Add ketchup, butter, salt, sugar and serve hot with boiled rice.

Time taken -- 1 1/2 hrs.
Serves -- 8.
