SIRKEWALA GOSHT
This is a dish that was created in the eastern part of India and gained popularity during the days of British India.

INGREDIENT
Lamb
- 1 kg.
Onions
- 500 gm.
Vinegar
- 120 ml.
Boiled red gram
- 25 gm.
Green coriander
- 60 gm.
(chopped)
Ginger/garlic
- 16 gm.
(paste)
Green chili
- 8 gm.
(paste)
Pepper powder
- 1.25 gm.
Turmeric powder
- 2.5 gm.
Black cumin
- 1.5 gm.
Oil
- 50 ml.
Salt to taste.

METHOD:
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions to golden brown. Add lamb and fry till the pieces turn brown and are almost cooked. Liquidize the boiled red gram to a smooth paste. Combine ginger/garlic paste, chili paste, pepper powder, turmeric powder, black cumin and add to the lamb. Stir and add liquidized lentils and serve hot with boiled rice.
