LAL MIRCH MACHI(FISH STEAK WITH RED CHILLIES)
A hot chili recipe for fish from southern India.

INGREDIENT :
Mackerels - 4nos.
Roasted red chili paste - 35 gm.
Turmeric powder - 5 gm.
Green chilies - 7 gm.
Ginger - 9 gm.
Oil - 30 ml.

Salt to taste.

METHOD :
Clean the fish and wash well. With a sharp knife, make diagonal slits widthwise . Rub red chili paste, turmeric, salt and oil, all over the fish. Marinate for 2 hrs. Grease oven tray and arrange the fish on it . Roast for 20 mins, till tender. Serve with shredded ginger and chopped green chilies.

Time taken -- 2 1/2 hrs.
Serves -- 4.
