CHICKEN

| INGREDIENT:
Chicken (medium sized pieces) boneless - 1 kg. Onions ( sliced) - 55 gm. Garlic (sliced) - 8 gm. Fresh ginger (sliced) -25gm. Lemon juice - 30 ml. Yogurt - 17 gm. Coriander chopped - 2 gm. Cumin powder - 1.5 gm. Garam-masala - 5 gm. Ground almonds - 15 gm. Food colouring - a pinch. Salt to taste. |
METHOD
: Blend onion, garlic, ginger and lemon juice till smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients and marinate chicken pieces in this mixture for at least 2 hrs. or overnight in a refrigerator. Thread chicken pieces on skewers and cook over glowing coals or in a preheated oven. Serve hot with chapattis or naan. Time taken -- 3
