FRESH VEGETABLE SALAD
A fresh vegetable salad from the western part of India.

INGREDIENT :
Lettuce leaves - 6 nos.
Cucumber - 150 gm.
Tomatoes - 165 gm.
Carrot - 50 gm.
Coriander - 45 gm.
Lemon juice - 15 ml.
Cauliflower - 35 gm.
Cabbage - 35 gm.
Green pepper - 50 gm.
Sugar - 12 gm.

Salt to taste.
METHOD :
Slice lettuce leaves into thin strips. Peel and dice cucumber, cut tomatoes into wedges, slice carrot into thin strips and chop coriander fine. Cabbage should be chopped into fine strips and cauliflower into small florets. Green pepper should also be cut into strips. Add sugar, lemon juice and salt and mix thoroughly. Garnish with green or red chilies.

Time taken -- 20 mins.
Serves -- 4.
